MetaObjects helped to create two AR and web experiences for artists Enoch Cheng and Lau Wai for the New Vision Arts Festival curated by Kyle Chung. The project includes AR sculptures triggered using a QR code that then leads visitors to a web experience inside a navigable virtual world created in Minecraft.
2³ or Not 2³: East Kowloon is on Minecraft is a virtual art exhibition in the game world of Minecraft. In light of the East Kowloon Cultural Centre’s opening in 2023, the exhibition reinterprets the cultural and historical elements of East Kowloon, featuring two commissioned Minecraft worlds.
